A Short NBA Live 10 Video Game Review For PlayStation And Xbox

This is a quick NBA Live game review for PlayStation and Xbox. NBA Live is one of Electronic Art's most well known console games. Every year, several sports games are released however NBA Live's annual edition always ends up being among the most popular. The latest version is no different, with its high tech graphics, new jerseys, and resolution, this final edition of NBA Live has garnered very positive reviews.

NBA Live 2010 featured additional jerseys, a first for the franchise. Throwback jerseys from the 1980s and 1990s were added in as well as several alternate ones for a number of teams. Using special codes, even more uniforms and shoes can be unlocked. It is unsure if every team will receive new game jerseys but two codes have been announced so far and more are likely to come. The graphics in this game received a massive overhaul. The game features quicker and smoother animations that allow for maximum play. Items like the lights and courts were designed to look very realistic. It's a bit grainy when enhanced on plasma screens but generally looks extremely well.

Other smaller graphics like the background and the players are more detailed as well. Unlike previous installments, this year's NBA Live game has a much more realistic background. The members of the crowd were designed to look more real and lifelike. Even the players themselves were give more exact and personal details such as tattoos, hairstyles, and other accessories. The basketball stars in this edition were made to be more easily recognized than previous ones. NBA Live 10's controls were changed slightly so that it is not essential to control the athletes every second of the game. Playing in the auto mode can end in many turnovers though. For users who desire to, it is very easy to expand the control to cover the athletes. The game play is simple enough so that even people who have never played a basketball game can quickly get the hang of it. Actions like shooting and passing are both single button functions. And both the Xbox and PlayStation controllers use the right joy stick to move the basketball players. Playing defense is simple as well, simply position your player near one from the other team and he will do the rest automatically. The revamp of the players' DNA from previous versions has largely improved too. The last edition's DNA will update each NBA player's abilities and attitudes nearly instantly. This latest version will also let players to compete in real games nearly as they occur in real time. And with the NBA's rosters and change ups updating immediately inside the game, it means for a much better Dynasty Mode too. The soundtrack was updated and revamped for this version to include more current bands and artists. There are more songs this year and that cuts down drastically on the music's redundancy during the game and training mode. They were programmed to change and react to the beat of the games.

That consists of LCD, plasma and projection in full HD, though allowing for 2D playback on both existing and 3D players. Adding towards the enjoyable will most likely be 3D menus and navigation, giving Playstation 3 owners the complete futuristic encounter.

The crazier portion is that most latest Blu-ray players will not support 3D. That means your buddy's standalone Blu-ray player will possibly be useless, while you are going to appreciate Playstation 3 games and 3D movies on your exisiting console. It is sure to piss off those proprietors but you won't hear me complaining. Obviously you will nevertheless need to buy a Television to support the 3D capability, but hey, half the battle has alreadybeen won. There's no release date for 3D movies yet, but additional announcements are specified to abide by. Within the meantime, Playstation 3 owners can rest easy and look forward in direction of the long term of watching 3D movies with their console.
